Phil is a Partner and leads a team specialising in media litigation and clinical negligence claims.

Having trained with a prominent independent costs consultancy, Phil joined Masters in 2006 before qualifying as a Costs Lawyer in 2009.  Phil has over 10 years experience and deals with all aspects of the costs process from costs management to attendance at detailed assessment hearings.  Phil has a broad caseload ranging from high profile defamation and privacy cases to complex high value clinical negligence claims.  He represents clients in both the justification and opposition of costs and in relation to complex technical disputes including substantial costs budgets.
