John joined Masters in2022, having practiced at an out-of-London firm since 2014, where he gained experience in a large variety of cases and managed a small team of Legal Aid Costs Lawyers. John qualified as a Costs Lawyer in 2017 and prides himself on strong client care and attention to detail.  

Since 2021, John has specialised in civil liberties litigation, obtaining an in-depth knowledge of all funding modes.  John has experience of preparing and negotiating technically complex Bills of Costs and Budgets, concerning multiple parties, inquests, and high value cases.
